Benfica- PSG (Europa League 1st leg)

Benfica haven’t lost at home since 07.12.2010 in battle for Champions League. The history supports our suggestion for home win- Benfica wan against the team from Paris in 2007 with 3-1 for the same European competition. The second team in Portugal behind FC Porto, have plentiful attacking options themselves- the experienced Saviola, Cardozo and many more dangerous people up- front. The Argentineans in the club are well known by the fans and some of them (like Pablo Aimar) are veterans in European competitions.

We believe it will be really hard for Pauleta and company to take even a point from this tie, despite their good games.

Benfica will make an excuse to the fans (because of the loss from Braga last round) if overcome PSG. The Portuguese squad is situated pretty comfortable in the league standing- they don’t have chances for the first place, but the threat to be replaced by Sporting doesn’t exist.
