A Bright New Curly Jewel in Chelsea

To pay 25 mln EUR for a defender is a big transfer (OK, in teams like Chelsea, Man City and Anzhi Mahachkala is not that a big deal), and one could think - is this defender gonna get them the title? And David Luiz has made just that impression in his first games for Chelsea. 

A skipper, who plays more often in the attacks of the team than the full backs could be rarely seen. Of course these activities pose some threat (remember the penalty he gave away in the last minutes against Fulham). Still the 25-year-old Brazilian is the attacking man needed by Chelsea. When the result is not good, he is constantly in the penalty area of the opposition, waiting for a flicked shot. 

From what we say at Stamford Bridge in the match against Man Utd we came to the following conclusions: 

1. Torres and Drogba will need 9-10 matches together to grasp the idea to pass the ball to one another. WHen they had the possession, each of them preferred to go shooting even if he was near the touch line. 

2. The Brazillian defender has better finishing abilities than Torres have shown so far. And Luiz has more attack in his blood than all the midfielders and most of the fullbacks. 

And if with Torres the transfer is questionable (at least in short term), Luiz is set to shine just by the end of June. And it would be a wise thing to put a bet on him as an each time scorer in the matches to come.
