Carroll is ready to put on his shoes

 The new signer of Liverpool's Andrew Carroll trained for the first time with his teammates yesterday's exercises of Liverpool. Almost certainly the former Newcastle striker, who has not played since Dec. 28, will debut in the red shirt in the derby with Manchester United on Sunday. It is unlikely, however, 22-year goal scorer to be in the starting lineup for Liverpool because he is still without game practice.

 Carroll’s joining is eagerly awaited by the Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish as Merseyside’s strikers are not doing their best in recent times. The Reds have made five goals in their last 4 games in the Premier League, of which three hits were made by midfielder Raul Meyrelesh who is in great form.
