Another legend quits in May

Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar will retire from football at the end of this season. He told: "It is now time to pay attention to my family." The decision wasn’t so easy for him- he still feels at fit. His wife, Annemarie, had a stroke in December 2009 and that also reflected on him.
Van der Sar has played 130 games for national team of Holland He was “on the top” with Manchester United: three times in Premier League, three times in League Cup wins, and Champions League- once (2008). He was Champions League winner with Ajax Amsterdam (1994/1995); in UEFA Cup (1999) with Juventus.
