West Ham’s battle against relegation

 Demba Ba completed his move to West Ham United on loan until the end of the season. The striker has scored 37 goals in 97 matches for Hoffenheim. The Teesiders also have agreed a contract (two and half year) with midfielder Gary O'Neil from Middlesbrough. Championship team, who is just above the relegation zone, have been forced to sell players following their failure to return to the Premier League after being relegated in 2009.
